About State I'm in

State I'm in helps you to let others know, quite simply, what state you're in. On a given day, there could be any number of things that your friends, coworkers, clients, students, etc. may want to know about you. Here, we provide an easy way for you to tell them.

Say you want to let people know whether or not you're in the office. You would create this new status (although thankfully this particular status is included by default), and change it from the update page. Now, when people want to know if you're in, they can check your profile page to find out.

State I'm in was created by Teddy Wing. It grew out of one of Teddy's side projects called Awake, where you could find out whether or not Teddy was awake, and how long he had been that way. State I'm in allows you to update similar statuses and share them with others.

Teddy is a 22-year old web designer and developer living in San Francisco and Boston.
